Viktor Bergstrand Saves ERAU Men's Soccer Season

In 2009, the Embry-Riddle men's soccer team enjoyed one of the most successful seasons in program history. The Eagles posted a 7-0-2 Sun Conference regular season record and earned the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. Their seeding allowed the Eagles to host the semfinal and championship matches. Both contests were decided on penalty kicks and thanks in large part to the heroics of senior goalkeeper Viktor Bergstrand, the Eagles were able to march past their opponents and on to the NAIA National Tournament.
