LAKELAND, Fla. – In the second set of a 3-0 victory at Southeastern on Oct. 23, 2012, Adriana Vazquez surpassed Marissa Gonzales as the all-time assists leader in Embry-Riddle Volleyball history. Vazquez notched 35 assists on the night, but it was her 21st assist of the match, which came on a tip kill from Jordan Holcomb, that moved Vazquez to the top of the list. That assist was her 4,686th of her illustrious career, which includes a 52-0 record in Sun Conference play, three trips to the NAIA National Championship Final Site and a 116-24 overall record over four years. Vazquez finished her career at ERAU with 5,035 assists, making her the only Eagle to eclipse the 5,000-assist mark in Embry-Riddle history.
