DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - A trio of athletes from the Embry-Riddle men's track and field and cross country teams have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team. The teams are chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and honor those student-athletes who have shown success in athletics and in the classroom.
Daniel Cashdollar, Matt Graves and Nick Peters were each selected to the Academic All-District Team, representing the Blue and Gold with three Eagles among the 10 student-athletes chosen from the Gulf South, Southern Intercollegiate and Sunshine State Conferences.
Cashdollar, a junior, holds a 3.84 GPA in Aerospace Engineering. A native of Evans City, Pennsylvania, Cashdollar set personal records in both events in which he competes, the pole vault and javelin. He threw the javelin a PR distance of 50.14m at the ERAU First Chance-Last Chance meet in February and pole vaulted to a new PR of 4.65m at the ERAU Spikes Classic in March.

Indoors, Graves clocked an 8:33.53 in the 3000m for a new personal record, while outdoors he lowered his PR times in the 800m (2:00.70), 1500m (3:58.50) and 5000m (15:00.03). He also ran in a pair of cross country meets in the fall, finishing sixth overall at the SSC Pre-Conference event in September with a season-best time of 26:03.58.
Peters, a junior, currently has a 3.95 GPA in Aerospace Engineering. Hailing from Bradenton, Florida, Peters registered personal-best times in the indoor 60m hurdles (8.94) and the outdoor 400m hurdles (56.58). He also competed in the outdoor 200m, clocking a season-low time of 23.70, and both the indoor and outdoor 400m events, posting season-best times of 53.01 indoors and 53.77 outdoors.
