2012: Hit .231 in 43 games with 29 starts as a junior...drove in 14 runs on 21 hits, also scored 21 runs...collected three RBIs on two hits against Webber International (Feb. 18)...drove in two runs against Warner (May 3).

At High Point University: Played for NCAA I High Point and Coach Craig Cozart…put up a .500 average in 10 at-bats his freshman season…garnered 27 starts in 32 games in 2011, hitting .250 in 88 at bats with 22 hits and eight RBIs.
 
Prep: Graduated from North Mecklenberg High School in 2009…spent two years at Coatesville High School playing for Coach Hal Ziegler before transferring to North Mecklenberg and Coach Mark King…four-year varsity player…hit .410 with 31 RBIs and five home runs during the 2008 season…improved his batting average to .415 with 35 RBIs and five homers in his senior campaign…helped his team to the third round of the state playoffs as a junior, and second round as a senior…named team captain as a senior.
