MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Embry-Riddle men's track and field team wrapped up its penultimate regular season meet on Saturday, the final day of the Mount Olive First Chance & Multi. Lonnie Marts was the top collegiate athlete in the decathlon and Calahan Warren won his only race of the day to highlight the action.

Marts concluded the decathlon with a fourth-place result overall, but he was the top collegiate finisher by almost 400 points, finishing with a total of 6815 points. That mark should move him into the top 16 nationally in the event. Marts posted the top overall mark in the discus with a toss of 43.07m and was the second-best collegiate performer in the javelin (44.19m) and third-best collegian in the pole vault (3.64m). Connor Guinn did not finish the event as he did not compete in the 1500m, but he was the top finisher in the pole vault (4.44m) and second-best collegiate athlete in the 110m hurdles (15.48) and the discus (35.64m).

In the field events, Brodie Lubelski took second place in the discus with a throw of 48.98m, while Michael Haynes was right behind him in third with a mark of 47.44m. Lubelski also finished as the runner-up in the shot put with a toss of 17.70m, while Kenny Onubogu earned a third-place result in the hammer throw with a distance of 49.13m.
