JACKSON, Tenn. – Madyson Jean-Louis added another accolade to her resume on Thursday. The senior guard was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association Women's Basketball All-South Region First Team as voted on by the sports information directors in the South Region.
 
Thursday's honor marks Jean-Louis' second appearance on the All-Region team after she earned second team recognition in 2023-24. It is also just the third All-Region honor in program history.
 
Jean-Louis was also named the Sunshine State Conference Player and Defensive Player of the Year and made her second consecutive appearance on the All-Conference First Team and All-Defensive Team rosters. Heading into regional play she is averaging 16.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in her 34.2 minutes per game across 30 contests. Jean-Louis finished the regular season second in SSC three-point field goal percentage (.457), fourth in points per game (16.9), and sixth in field-goal percentage (.482). On Feb. 26, she vaulted to the top of the Eagles' all-time scoring list and is the first in program history to break 1,500 points (1,547).
