MIAMI, Fla. -- Nick Miller scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Tyler DeBord added 15 points and 14 boards to help lead the No. 6 Embry-Ridde University men's basketball team to a 70-54 victory at Miami Country Day Gymnasium Wednesday night.

The Eagles (9-1) opened the game with a 16-6 run sparked by Miller who scored all 13 of his first-half points in the first seven minutes during the run going 5-for-6 from the floor.

DeBord scored nine of his 15 in the second half helping the Eagles expand their lead to as many as 20 in the half.  Johnson & Wales drops to 7-6 on the year.
