Named for longtime Embry-Riddle Head Men’s Basketball Coach Steve Ridder and his wife Vicky, the mission of the Ridder Transformational Program is to provide current ERAU student-athletes with professional development and training experiences in preparation for “Life after Sports.” Through a holistic developmental approach, this program will extend Coach Ridder’s philosophy of “Student-Person-Player,” through an endowment that will endure in perpetuity beyond his impactful tenure with the institution, and thus continue to transform the lives of student-athletes in his unique style.
The Ridder Transformational Program will support student-athletes throughout their Embry-Riddle careers by providing relevant and pertinent professional, mental, and physical development training in the following the areas of Career/Professional Development, Personal Development, Networking, Leadership Development, Financial Education, and Community Engagement.
