DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--Jessica Garcia and Kristen Phelps each had a goal and two assists to lead the Embry-Riddle women's soccer team to its sixth straight victory, a 3-1 defeat of Flagler on Wednesday night.
The Eagles drew first blood just minutes into the game, when Katrina Morgan tapped in her fifth goal of the year just six minutes into the game. Phelps chipped the ball into the box, and Garcia sent to ball to Morgan, who put it past FC goalie Kristin Nelson.
The Saints equalized at the 17:01 mark when freshman Tiffany Urquhart took a misplayed ball and tucked it under ERAU goalie Stephanie Taylor.
Garcia put the Eagles in front to stay just before halftime with her fourth goal of the season off a pass from Phelps, and returned the favor to Phelps at the 63:27 mark for the final margin.
Both Taylor and Nelson made five saves.
ERAU will be back in action on Friday, September 29, hosting Brewton Parker.
