DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's soccer team scored early and often en route to their seventh straight victory Friday night over Sun Conference member Johnson & Wales 9-0. The game was delayed 90 minutes due to inclement weather.

Junior forward Elina Johansson, fresh off her record breaking 44th goal against SCAD last Wednesday netted the first goal of the match just 66 seconds into the game.

Hanna Lundqvist scored her ninth and 10th goals at the 1:57 and 5:46 marks respectively to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead.

Senior Lindsey Evans added a pair of goals in the first half, sandwiched around Mandy Drummond's second goal of the season off a Johansson cross. Evans' second goal gave ERAU a 6-0 margin going into the break.

In the second half the Blue and Gold scored three more times to account for the final of 9-0. Gracie Peters scored twice for the Eagles while Kara Haack scored her first goal of the season in the final period.

Dina Roper and Lauren Gallant split time in goal as they managed a shut out of the Wildcats. The shut out was ERAU's seventh of the season.

ERAU moves to 9-4 overall and 6-0 in conference play while the Wildcats, who are in their first season of play, fell to 0-7 overall with the same mark in The Sun Conference.
