Men's Soccer Falls to Belhaven 3-0

ORANGE BEACH, Fla. – The fourth-ranked Belhaven men's soccer used three first-half goals to take a 3-0 win over Embry-Riddle (1-3), Friday at a tournament hosted by the University of Mobile at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. The Blazers (6-0) were led by Will Monsour who contributed to all three scores with two goals and an assist and Loic Miliani, who had two assists.

In the second minute, Miliani tested ERAU freshman goalkeeper Tyler Magee with the first shot of the game. Magee, playing in his first ever collegiate contest, was able to make the stop, but couldn't hold on to the ball, allowing Monsour to grab the rebound and score.

In the 16th minute, Rodrigo Suarez finished a Monsour cross and 10 minutes later, Monsour and Miliani combined again to give the Blazers the 3-0 lead.

The Eagles settled into more of a rhythm and seemed poised to break into the Belhaven lead, but a six-save outing by Blazer goalkeeper Carl BBUndell helped keep the BBUe and Gold off the scoreboard and preserve the shutout.

The Eagles return to the pitch at 7:30 p.m. (CST) on Saturday when they go against host and 21st-ranked  Mobile.
