BABSON PARK, Fla. - Robi Zimmerman hurled a one-hit shutout in ERAU's 4-0 game two victory to complete a doubleheader sweep at Webber International. The Eagles took game one by a score of 7-2, officially clinching a berth in The Sun Conference Tournament. With the wins, Embry-Riddle improves to 23-19, tying the program record for wins in a season set last year, and puts ERAU in a position to earn the No. 4 seed at next week's conference tournament with an 8-8 league record. The Warriors finish the season at 22-23 and 4-12 in league play.
 Game 1 - ERAU 7, WIU 2
Erika Bellinger opened the scoring with a solo home run in the bottom of the second, but Raquelli Bianco answered back with a solo homer of her own in the top of the third to knot things up at 1-1.
The fifth inning proved to be the decisive frame as ERAU took advantage of a pair of Webber errors to plate six runs, all with two outs. Kelsey McDonnell reached with a one-out walk and Bianco singled with two outs to put runners at first and second. Taylor Cowan then reached on an error to load the bases, and Haleigh Lewis followed with an infield single to score McDonnell to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead. The WIU third baseman kicked her second ground ball of the inning to allow Victoria Reed to reach base and Bianco to score, making it 3-1. Talia Barraco delivered the big blow, hitting a high pop to right-center field that fell for a bases-clearing double, pushing the Eagle lead to 6-1. After a pitching change, Zimmerman singled home Barraco for the sixth run of the inning, giving the Blue and Gold a commanding 7-1 lead.
Jasmine Rodriguez hit a solo homer in the bottom of the fifth to make it a 7-2 game, but Bianco held the Warriors without a baserunner for the rest of the game, securing the victory for Embry-Riddle.
Bianco (14-7) got the win, allowing just two runs on two hits with no walks and nine strikeouts. She also went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored, while Barraco was 1-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and Zimmerman was 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Kaitlyn Romaine (1-4) took the loss, giving up six unearned runs on three hits and a walk in 0.2 innings of relief. Rodriguez and Bellinger each hit solo home runs to account for both Warrior hits in the game.
Game 2 - ERAU 4, WIU 0
The Blue and Gold scored twice in the third and fourth innings of game two, and that would prove to be more than enough run support for Zimmerman. McDonnell opened the third with a base hit and Kailah Rain followed with a bunt single. After both runners moved up a base on a wild pitch, Bianco roped a two-run single down the right field line to score both runners.
Barraco led off the fourth with a four-pitch walk and moved to third on a double from Zimmerman. Chanley Burge hit the first pitch she saw to deep left field, allowing Barraco to score on the sacrifice fly. Three batters later, Bianco knocked in Zimmerman with a base hit to make it a 4-0 game.
Zimmerman didn't allow many baserunners on the day, but the Eagles were still able to turn inning-ending double plays in the fourth and sixth innings to prevent Webber International from mounting any serious scoring threats. Zimmerman pitched a solid 1-2-3 seventh inning to finish off the 4-0 win.
Zimmerman (8-12) earned the win with a one-hit shutout, walking one and striking out seven. She was also 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored, while Bianco was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and McDonnell was 2-for-4 with a run scored.
Kayla Montogomery (5-7) took the loss, giving up four runs (three earned) on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts in 3.2 innings of work. Lydia Hough went 1-for-3 with WIU's only hit of the game.
The Eagles will now await their seeding in The Sun Conference Tournament, which begins next Thursday, April 30, in Clermont. Depending on the outcomes of other league games this week, the Blue and Gold could be seeded as high as No. 4 or as low as No. 6.
