DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The No. 23 ranked Embry-Riddle softball team celebrated Senior Day in style on Sunday afternoon as the Eagles defeated Flagler College 3-2 thanks to a walk-off single by
Maggie Scott in the bottom of the 10th inning. ERAU improved to 33-13, while Flagler falls to 26-26.

The Eagles played from behind the entire contest with Flagler scoring early in the contest. In the top of the second, Morgan Murphy hit a solo home run for the first run of the game. The Saints tallied their second run in the third after scoring on a fielder's choice. However, the Eagles cut the deficit to one in the bottom of the third as
Maggie Scott hit an RBI single up the middle to score
ReAnne Drayton.

Neither team managed to score in the fourth or fifth as both pitchers really dialed in. With the score at 2-1 in favor of the Saints, ERAU came to bat in the sixth with a chance to tie.
Katy Thompson started the inning with a single followed by
Destiny Carroll who also singled, putting two runners on with one out. A costly fielding error by the Flagler shortstop allowed the Eagles to tie the game as Thompson scored from second the mishap. Going into the seventh, the Eagles and Flagler were tied at 2-2.

The game went all the way until the 10th inning until either team had an opportunity to score. In the bottom of the frame,
Peqe Lopez singled to short to begin the inning.
Destiny Carroll reached on a fielding error by the Saints first baseman.
ReAnne Drayton reached on a fielder's choice, as Lopez was out at third but Carroll advanced to second. The next batter was
Lisa Hop who walked to load the bases for
Maggie Scott. On an 0-2 count, Scott drove a walk-off single through the right side to secure the 3-2 victory for the Eagles.

Ilona Andringa started the game for the Blue and Gold and she was spectacular. Andringa pitched a complete game, allowed four hits, two runs (one earned), walked three and struck out four. Andringa won her 21st game, setting a new Embry-Riddle single-season record.

Scott went 4-for-6, hitting four singles, stealing two bases and knocking in two runs.
Lisa Hop went 2-for-4 and managed to draw a walk.
Mackie Chandler,
Mariana Pereira,
Katy Thompson and
Destiny Carroll all went 1-for-4 as Thompson and Carroll both managed to score a run.

This was the final game of the regular season, as the Eagles have to wait and see if they qualify for the National Tournament. Embry-Riddle is currently ranked 23rd in the latest NFCA Coaches Poll and sixth in the South Region Rankings.
