Men's Soccer Falls Short Against #5 Palm Beach Atlantic

DAYTONA BEACH, FL – The Eagles battled hard against the No. 5 Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish, holding them to a scoreless first half. However, the Sailfish shoved back in the second period to record a 2-0 victory over Embry-Riddle.

  • Embry-Riddle started off on the attack with a shot from Alexander Hasenohrl in the 12th minute that was swatted away by Palm Beach Atlantic's keeper Flavio Giannini
  • Marcos da Silva and Giannini both stood strong in net, making two saves each in the first period to record a scoreless first half
  • The Sailfish ramped up the pressure in the second half with Tin Vastic finding the back of the net in the 51st minute, and breaking open the scoreboard
