Women's Soccer Wraps Up Regular Season With Convincing 3-0 Win Over Sailfish

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Embry-Riddle (9-4-4, 4-4-2) earned a resounding 3-0 win over Palm Beach Atlantic (5-8-3, 1-7-2) on Tuesday evening at Embry-Riddle Soccer Stadium. The Eagles left their most dominant performance of the season for the regular season finale, achieving a season-high in a handful of categories, including: shots (26), shots on goal (12), and goals (3). Their three-goal win was the largest of the season, while the 26 shots were the team's most in a game since 2023 when they took 28, also against PBA.

First Half
The Blue and Gold's control of the game was established from the beginning, with ERAU generating a 14-2 shot advantage in the opening 45 minutes. Berglind Thrastardottir opened the game with the first shot at 13:54, and finished the half with a team-high three shots on goal. Thrastardottir's shot was the first of six shots and four corner kicks across the next eight minutes, but Brooke Delzatto was unable to be beaten. Agnes Vigholm was denied by a goal-line clearance at 21:18 and saw her second shot at 32:09 saved as well. Six saves from Delzatto kept the game scoreless, while the Eagles did not give up a shot on target in the first half.

Second Half
Embry-Riddle continued their dominance in the second half, recording 12 shots and five corners while limiting Palm Beach Atlantic to two shots. Lisa Elowsson took the first shot of the half within the first 90 seconds. Stella Roane was forced into her only save of the night at 49:05, before Ebba Fjordskaer put ERAU in front at 50:28, looping her shot from the left side over the head over Delzatto and into the back of the net. The goal seemed to help the Blue and Gold's attack get rolling as Calli Berrang then hit the crossbar less than two minutes later and then Berrang denied by a second goal-line clearance from the Sailfish. There was no last-second stop to deny Eve Tiktikakis of her first career goal at 70:51 as she scored following a corner kick to make it 2-0. Fjordskaer became the second Eagle to score multiple goals in a game this season when she sealed all three points at 72:59, with the team's final shot on goal.
