Embry-RIddle Falls Short in Narrow Loss to Georgia Southwestern

The Eagles come up shy in 5-4 loss to the Hurricanes

AMERICUS, Ga. — Embry-Riddle hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes. The Eagles and the Hurricanes were neck-and-neck, but a lone run in the eighth inning put Georgia Southwestern ahead.

Junior Drew Clymer led the Eagles' bats with three hits, including a double, and one RBI. Freshman right arm Jason Dennis made his first collegiate start after working three scoreless and hitless innings against Georgia College and State on Saturday, Feb. 7. In his start, Dennis worked 2.2 innings allowing seven hits, two runs, and striking out one.
