Eagles Complete the Sweep Over Barry in 13-4 Victory

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla – Embry-Riddle completes the sweep over Barry in heavy-handed 12-4 victory. Barry came out strong, scoring the first four runs of the game. However, Embry-Riddle was not ready to go quietly and responded with a five spot in the third which electrified the bats. The Eagles improved to a .500 record with the win over the Buccaneers in game three of the conference series.

1st Inning:
  • Barry's Zavier Hatfield drew a lead-off walk
  • Anthony Tralongo kicked in a double to put two runners in scoring position for the Buccaneers
  • Erik Blair laid down a sac-bunt to score Hatfield of third and reached first on a fielder's choice
  • Tralongo came around to score off third on a sacrifice fly to center-field
2nd Inning:
  • The Bucs' Dyson Joseph reached first via an error
  • Hatfield knocked in a double to put two runners in scoring position
  • Tralongo followed up with a double of his own to score both Hatfield and Joseph, improving Barry's lead to 4-0
3rd Inning:
  • Derek Lopez launched a lead-off single to put a runner at first
  • Max McClusky knocked in a double to put two runs in scoring position for Embry-Riddle
  • Francisco Feliciano singled up the middle to score Lopez and advance McClusky to third
