| By:
COLUMBUS, Ga. – Embry-Riddle women's golf concluded the regular season with 54 holes of action at the Lady Cougar Classic, hosted by Columbus State at Green Island Country Club.

The Eagles posted a three-round total 954 (+90) to finish seventh out of 12 teams, led by a podium finish from Frances Amat. The freshman posted a career-best finish, carding a total score of 226 (+10) to finish third with the second-best total score of the tournament. Amat earned individual runner-up honors from the hosts as the top two finishers tied for first with a total score of 224 (+8).

"Super proud of the team's fight this week," Head Coach Maria Lopez said. "This is by far one of the hardest courses of the season, being a former PGA Tour stop. It was a tough, but fair course."

"We faced a quality field and a challenging layout that helped for us to grow as a team," Lopez added. "We're looking forward to where this takes us for conference."
