Women's Rowing National Championship Schedule Update

GAINESVILLE, Ga. - The 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Rowing Championship schedule has been changed to a one-day event with severe weather in the forecast for Saturday. Embry-Riddle enters as the No. 4 overall seed in both the Varsity Four and Varsity Eight. Each of the six participating teams will compete in one race on Friday morning, with seeds No. 1, 4, and 5 racing together, followed immediately by seeds No. 2, 3, and 6. The top two boats of each heat will advance to the Grand Final which has now been moved up to Friday afternoon.

The Varsity Eight will begin their day at 8:02 AM, while the Varsity Four race will start shortly after at 8:16 AM. The grand final for the V8+ is scheduled for 3:48 PM with the V4+ final following at 3:56 PM.

The seeding for each boat classification is as follows:

3 Seattle Pacific Rollins
4 Embry-Riddle Embry-Riddle
5 Jefferson Seattle Pacific
6 Rollins Jefferson

Following the grand final, the team with the most points will be crowned the 2026 NCAA Division II national champions. In the case of two teams ending with the same amount of points, the finish in the Varsity Eight race would be used as the tiebreaker.
