DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — After battling the weather for a majority of the day, Embry-Riddle (0-0-1) ended its match against Lee (0-0-1) in a 1-1 draw on Thursday evening. The Eagles grabbed a goal in the first two minutes of the second half after the Lady Flames opened the scoring with a goal in the ninth minute.
First Half
- Lee forced
Stella Roane into three first-half saves, with the senior's first save coming in the opening 56 seconds of the match.
- The Lady Flames capitalized on their early momentum when Emma Nelson found the back of the net from outside of the box at 8:18.
- In the 20th minute, the game entered a 45-minute lightning delay. Following the stoppage, the Blue and Gold came out looking revitalized.
- ERAU spent plenty of time in their attacking third towards the end of the opening half, earning three corner kicks in the final 15 minutes.
Second Half
- The Eagles picked up where they left off in the second half, earning a corner kick and
Agnes Vigholm grabbing the first goal of the season for ERAU on an olympico, curling the ball into the goal directly from the corner at 46:38.
- At 57:35, Lee's Madleen Franz nearly converted, hitting the crossbar, and the rebound from Sydney Clements' going over the top moments later.

Berglind Thrastardottir tried to grab a late winner for Embry-Riddle but saw her 81st minute effort saved by Abby Whitcomb.
- Embry-Riddle and Lee ended the period locked at 1-1, each team unable to break the deadlock despite multiple attempts.
