DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Embry-Riddle (2-0) secured a 3-2 victory over Georgia Southwestern (1-1) on Saturday at Embry-Riddle Soccer Stadium. The Eagles capitalized on their strong first half to hold off a late surge from the Hurricanes.
First Half

Lukas Bludau scored for Embry-Riddle shortly after a missed penalty kick by
Johannes Larsen, giving the Eagles an early lead.
- Georgia Southwestern quickly responded at 13:50 with a goal by Theo Hoang, leveling the score at 1-1.
- Embry-Riddle regained the lead at 20:15 when
Riley Aldana found the net following a saved shot by
Jhamaleek Porter.
