2009 at John Jat College: Played one season as an outfielder at John Jay College...second team All-Conference...started in all 41 games for the Bloodhounds with a .307 batting average, eight doubles, 19 RBI, 19 walks and was 14-of-18 in stolen bases...tabbed as the City University of New York Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Apr. 7 after hitting .455 (10-for-22) with eight runs, five RBI and four doubles...earned CUNYAC Rookie of the Week honors on Mar. 22 after batting .438 (7-for-16) with two doubles and five RBI in four games...garnered his second Rookie of the Week honor on Apr. 2 after batting .417 with three runs, two stolen bases and an RBI in three games.
