Biography

2011: Returned to the diamond after taking a medical redshirt in 2010...had a perfect 5-0 record in 19 appearances with three starts...in 45.1 innings he has allowed just 19 earned runs while fanning 26 for an ERA of 3.77...teams averaged .241 against him...picked up his first win of the year against Webber International (Feb. 19) in 5.2 innings of relief...pitched four frames of two-hit ball against Bellevue (Mar. 6), earning the victory...struck out a season-high five against Tennessee Wesleyan (Mar. 9), earning the win in his seven-inning outing.

2010: Redshirted.

2009: Pitched in nine games, starting in four…closed out the season at 2-1 with a 4.50 earned run average and 16 strikeouts in 22 innings pitched…got his first win of the season with against Cumberland (Mar. 5)…threw a complete game against Aquinas on Mar. 12, striking out four and surrendering just one unearned run.

Prep: A 2008 graduate of the IMG Baseball Academy located in Bradenton, Florida...had a 4-1 record in 2008 with a 2.90 ERA...had a 1.80 ERA with a 6-0 record in 2007...graduated with honors.

Personal: Son of Sandy and Greg Ratliff...born Aug. 19, 1989...majoring in Business Administration.
