2011: Started in 48 of his 55 games played in 2011...eighth on the team with a .301 batting average...ranked fourth in runs scored with 47...second on the squad in stolen bases with 25...had 50 hits on the year, 11 went for extra-bases...drew 36 walks and drove in 20 runs...had a .971 fielding percentage in left field...led the team with 13 sacrifice hits...went 4-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored against Thomas (Apr. 9)...was 4-for-5 with a pair of RBI against Edward Waters in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round (May 12)...drove in four runs against Warner (Feb. 12), and three runs against Bellevue (Mar. 6)

At South Florida CC: Spent two seasons playing for Coach Rick Hitt and the Panthers…hit .387 as a freshman and .369 as a sophomore…second on the team in RBI in both seasons…All-Southern Conference honorable mention in 2009…Academic All-State selection as a freshman.

Prep: 2008 graduate of East Ridge High School…played four seasons under Coach David Bultema…led the team in RBI and stolen bases in both his junior and senior seasons…during his senior campaign he earned first team All-Metro Conference honors and was named an All-Region honorable mention…All-Metro Conference second team honoree as a junior…also played basketball for the Knights for four seasons…named team captain of the basketball squad his junior and senior years…All-Central Florida second team selection twice.

Personal: Born in Atlanta, Ga. on May 7, 1990…son of Diane and Ken Smith…majoring in Homeland Security…sister Kim plays basketball at Florida Atlantic.
