As A Junior in 2011: NAIA Second team All-American… NSCAA/Continental Tire NAIA All-America second team…The Sun Conference Player of the Year…also tabbed as the league’s Offensive Player of the Year…team MVP…closed out his first season wearing the Blue and Gold with 20 points on four goals and a team-high 12 assists…earned Sun Conference Player of the Week honors on Sept. 20 after scoring three goals and adding four assists in the Eagles’ 16-0 win over Johnson & Wales (Sept. 16)…assisted on three of the Eagles’ four goals against Northwood (Oct. 4)…also collected three points on a goal and an assist against Southeastern (Oct. 26)…played for the Orlando City U23 PDL team during the summer, tallying a goal and six assists in nine games…helped Orlando City to the Southern Conference title and the final four of the PDL playoffs.
 
At Rio Grande: Played two seasons for the Redmen, helping them to NAIA National Final Four appearances in 2008 and 2009…drew 18 starts in 23 games and contributed five goals and three assists as a freshman…started in 17 of his 18 games as a sophomore, totaling 17 points on five goals and seven assists.
 
Prep: Graduated from St. Edmund Arrowsmith High School in 2004…helped LeHigh RMI to the Lancashire Cup title…also played for the Lancashire FA team that won the County League and Cup crown.
 
Personal: Son of Paul and Bev Fairhurst…born in Wigan, England on July 15, 1988…majoring in Communications.
