Biography

2013: Preseason All-American.

2012: Honorable Mention All-American...first team All-Conference award winner...went 9-0 with a 1.68 ERA in 10 appearances...ranked second in the nation in total runs allowed with 17, only 13 of which were earned...after his first start against Auburn Montgomery, he earned a win in each of his final nine starts...struck out 47 batters and only allowed 14 walks in 69.2 innings...allowed just seven extra-base hits...went eight innings against Webber International (Feb. 18), allowing just seven hits and no runs while striking out five...fanned nine opponents in his win against Edward Waters (Feb. 25), and followed that with an eight-strikeout performance in a win over Cumberland (Mar. 5)...scattered 14 hits and four runs in the championship game of the NAIA National Tournamnet Opening Round - Daytona Beach Bracket to send the Eagles to their fifth straight World Series.

2011: Second team All-Conference honoree... named The Sun Conference Gold Glove winner as a pitcher...the Eagles’ third weekend starter...had a perfect 10-0 record on the year...the Eagles went 15-1 when he pitched...boasted a 3.40 ERA in 16 contests for the Blue and Gold...third on the team with 84.2 IP...struck out 53 batters while walking just 17...pitched a complete game victory against SCAD Savannah (Apr. 23), allowing just one earned run while fanning six Bees...struck out eight in his 6.2 inning start against Southeastern (Mar. 5)...was the winning pitcher for ERAU in their championship game win over No. 15 Brewton-Parker in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.

2010 at Pasco Hernando CC: Spent time under coach Steve Winterling but was sidelined due to injury.

Prep: Graduated in 2007 from Dunedin High School…played two seasons for coach Tom Hilbert…hit .523 with 38 RBI in 28 games during his junior season…paced the Falcons with a .405 batting average and 22 RBI in 20 games during his senior year…was a 2006 All-State, All-Suncoast Conference and All-District selection…named team’s offensive MVP for 2006…also earned preseason All-America status in 2007 and was named to the All-Suncoast Conference and All-District teams.

Personal: Born in Dunedin, Fla. on Jan. 3, 1989…son of Donnalee and Thomas Maloney…majoring in Business Administration.
