2016: Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll...played in 21 games with 12 starts...had 11 hits with six RBIs and three runs scored...went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs against Florida Memorial (Feb. 6)...also posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 22 chances.

2015: Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Sun Conference honoree…made three starts while appearing in 23 contests…scored 5 runs with three hits and a pair of RBIs.

2014: Made six appearances for the Blue and Gold.

2013: Redshirted.

Prep: Graduated in the top 10% of his 2012 Sante Fe High School class...played for coaches Stephen Barton and Shedrick Honeycutt...earned Outstanding Defensive Player honors as a junior...led his team to a regional semifinal in 2012 and a district championship in 2011...presented the 2010 Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Award.

Personal: Born in Alachua, Florida...parents are Leann and Carl Malphurs...majoring in Mechanical Engineering...spent time volunteering at local elementary schools, recreational parks and the Gatorball Baseball Academy.
