2019: Redshirted...earned SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition.

2018: Named to the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll...14 appearances with a team-high seven starts...went 2-2 in 42.2 innings of work...fanned 25 batters...earned the win against Felician (Feb. 9), going 6.0 innings, allowing one run on four hits with eight strikeouts...also got the win in relief against the University of Mary (March 9), throwing 3.0 innings with three Ks.

2017: SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient...made five starts with 17 total appearances...pitched 54.2 innings with 36 strikeouts...struck out eight batters in 5.1 innings against Florida Tech (April 13)...got the save against Bellevue (March 5) in an inning of work with two strikeouts.

2016: Redshirted...named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Prep: Graduated in 2015 from Duncan Fletcher High School...played five seasons for the Senators...voted the Pitcher of the Year as an eighth-grader after throwing a no-hitter...as a sophomore, helped his team to an undefeated season while playing shortstop and pitching, hitting .460 with a 1.57 ERA...hit .434 as a senior playing third base...tossed all nine innings in an April 7, 2015 game, recording 20 first-pitch strikes and a 0.22 WHIP.

Personal: Born in Jacksonville, Florida...parents are Laura and Randy Russell...majoring in Air Traffic Control and Human Factors.
