2017: Made 16 appearances with three starts on the bump for the Eagles...tossed 23.1 innings, striking out 13 batters.

Prep: 2011 graduate of McIntosh High School...posted a 2.90 ERA in 49 innings of work as a senior...struck out 51 batters and picked off 13 runners en route to earning first team All-League honors.

Personal: Born in Memphis, Tennessee...son of Sharon and Lee McFarland...served in the United State Navy as a Naval Aviation Rescue Swimmer for four years following high school graduation...helped coach Frank Cox High School to the 2015 regional championship...majoring in Aeronautical Science.
