On March 27, 2006, the Embry-Riddle Intercollegiate Athletic Department celebrated the opening of the Embry-Riddle Track & Field Complex. The premier track & field facility in the Peach Belt Conference, the Embry-Riddle Track & Field Complex has hosted numerous Sun Conference and Peach Belt Conference championship events.

The eight-lane, 400-meter track features a BSS 1000 track surface constructed by Beynon Sports. The facility, which can be fully lit, has bi-directional runways for the pole vault, long and triple jump, a high jump apron, two runways for the javelin and a water pit for the steeple chase. Prior to the start of the 2012 season, the original 120-by-70-yard soccer field was replaced by three throwing areas were added, including hammer, discus and shot put with landing areas.

On the north side of the facility are bleachers for spectator seating and a walkway running the length of the track allows spectators to get an up-close view of all the events taking place.

In the months leading up to the 2012 London Olympics, the ERAU Track & Field Complex served as the training ground for several of the world’s elite athletes, including 2012 Olympic gold medalist in the triple jump, Christian Taylor and 4x100m relay gold medalist Tianna Madison.
