PEP BAND
Now in its eighth-year and over 30 members strong, the Pep Band has played a tremendous role in creating and maintaining a home-court advantage for Eagles basketball and volleyball at the ICI Center.
Founded in 1998-99, the Pep Band continues to make every Eagle contest a complete collegiate basketball experience. A huge fan favorite among Eagle faithful, the Pep Band has formed the tradition of performing the national anthem before Eagle basketball and volleyball games, as well as making the ICI Center a difficult place to play leading many fan cheers aside from their musical talents.
The Pep Band put itself on the map during the 1999-2000 season. The group traveled by bus all the way to Branson, Mo., to support the basketball team at the national tournament. The Embry-Riddle Pep Band worked in harmony with the Bobcat Band from the College of the Ozarks to create an unbelievable atmosphere during the national championship game, ultimately won by the Eagles 75-63.
