Mislav Hizak etched his name into the Embry-Riddle record books not once, not twice, but three times as an individual ITA/NAIA National Champion. Hizak claimed his first title in 2005 as a sophomore, earning a spot in the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships where he registered a two-set upset over top seed ad two-time defending champion Ryler DeHeart of the University of Illinois on his way to the quarterfinals of the event. Hizak's second crown came in 2006, repeating as ITA/NAIA Champion, and became the first men's player in the 21-year ITA National Small College Championship history to repeat as "Super Bowl" Champion. The Varazdin, Croatia native made it a three-peat in 2007, an unprecedented title win with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Victor Sanakaipapi from Auburn-Montgomery. Hizak also won the ITA National Small College "Super Bowl" championship for the third straight year.  Â
