Mike Edwards became just the second Embry-Riddle men's track & field athlete to claim an NAIA National Championship when he won the 2013 NAIA Indoor Track & Field high jump crown. The senior from Manchester, England then repeated the accomplishment with the high jump title at the 2013 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships. Edwards won the indoor title with a jump of 2.18m and followed it up with a jump of 2.22m at the outdoor event.
Edwards' two high jump national championships marked the first field titles in Embry-Riddle men's track & field history.        Â
