Biography

2008: Started in 47 games in the Eagles’ outfield...hit .322 with 57 hits including 10 doubles, three triples and six home runs...leads Eagle returners in slugging percentage (.514), hits, doubles, home runs, total bases (91), at-bats (177) and stolen bases (19)...had the most stolen bases on the team...scored 43 of his 46 runs after Mar. 11...had 16 multiple-hit and eight multiple-rbi games...had five games with three hits including the first game of the NAIA Region XIV tournament against SCAD where he also had a home run...fourth in the conference in stolen bases and eighth in the league in runs scored...had an eight-game hitting streak from Mar. 22 to Apr. 5...scored two runs in the Eagles win over Jamestown at the NAIA World Series on May 24...also had two RBI, one hit and one run against Bellevue (May 26).

Pierce CC: Led Pierce Community College in hits (38), home runs (6), RBI’s (29) and stolen bases (19) in 2007...during his sophomore season hit .346...garnered West-NWAACC honors as an outfielder...was also a member of the second team All-NWAACC in the same season.

Prep: A 2005 graduate of Spanaway Lake High School where he earned two letters under head coach Brian Davis...named to the second team All-South Puget Sound League in 2005.

Personal: Born in Auburn, Wash. on Oct. 22, 1986...son of Julie and Terry Tea of Spanaway, Wash....majoring in Business Administration.
