Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Athletics

2008: Named an NAIA second team All-American...first team All-NAIA Region XIV... selected to the All-Conference team as the relief pitcher...set a new single-season record for saves at Embry-Riddle and led the NAIA with 12...the 12th save came against Warner Southern in the NAIA Region XIV Championship on May 7...accumulated a 6-2 record with a 3.27 ERA...pitched 33.0 innings marking 35 strikeouts, 18 walks and 16 runs...named the conference Pitcher of the Week on Mar. 18 and Apr. 8...fifth all-time at ERAU for appearances by a pitcher in a season...averaged 1.17 strikeouts per inning during the regular season...gave up only nine runs to NAIA institutions (only six of which were earned).

Hill CC: Pitched 24.1 innings for Hill Community College in 2007, mostly in relief...allowed only 25 hits while striking out 27 batters... finished third in the region with five saves...walked only four batters in 16 appearances...had a 2.95 ERA with a 3-2 record.

Prep: A 2005 graduate of Pearland High School where he earned two varsity letters...named Pearland’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2003...duplicated that award in 2005 and was also named the Comeback Player of the Year and named second team All-District.

Personal: Son of Rita Casey...born in Panama City, Fla. on Nov. 22, 1986... served as a middle-school mentor at Hill CC...majoring in Business Administration.
