2010: Made six appearances with 5.0 innings of work...opponents hit .176  against him on just three hits...had a 1.80 ERA...pitched an inning in relief against St. Xavier (Mar. 1), striking out one.

2009: Played in 19 games out of the bullpen…only start of the year was against Auburn-Montgomery (Feb. 7)…struck out 39 batters in 28.2 innings of relief…tossed two innings of shutout ball with four strikeouts against Florida Memorial (Feb. 14)…fanned four of the six batters he faced to pick up his only save of the season against Indiana Tech (Mar. 16)…matched his season best of four strikeouts in two innings of relief in the Eagles’ NAIA National Championship Opening Round win against Auburn-Montgomery (May 14).

2007 at Houston: Registered a 4.91 ERA with a 4-1 record...pitched 18.1 innings with 18 strikeouts and 10 earned runs in 14 appearances…fanned four batters in two innings of relief to earn the win against the University of San Francisco (Mar. 16).

2006 at Navarro JC: Played for Head Coach Whoa Dill as a freshman…saw  limited action after being injured.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Flower Mound High School...a four-year letterwinner under head coach Steve Strinson...drafted in the 28th round of the 2006 first year Player Draft by the New York Yankees...helped lead the FMHS Jaguars to a 28-7 overall record and berth in the Region I quarterfinals...compiled eight saves with two wins and a 2.14 ERA.

Personal: Born in Arlington, Texas on Jan. 15, 1988...son of Christine and Barry Bruce of...father Barry played football at Texas and Abilene Christian in the late 1970s...majoring in Business Administration...worked with Habitat for Humanity to renovate and rebuild homes.
