2012: Named The Sun Conference’s Gold Glove winner at the pitcher position...started the season as one of the Eagles’ three weekend starters, but an injury caused him to miss more than a month in the middle of the year...went 6-3 with a 3.36 ERA in 15 games...third on the squad with 77.2 innings pitched...opponents managed just .262 against him while fanning 55 times in 305 at-bats...allowed more than three earned runs just twice...struck out a team-high 10 batters in a single game against Tennessee Wesleyan (Jan. 29), holding the Bulldogs to two runs in seven frames...recorded a save in ERAU’s win over South Carolina Beaufort (May 2), throwing the final inning without surrending a run...shutout the Lions of Florida Memorial (Feb. 4) with a seven-inning, four-hit effort.

At West Virginia Wesleyan: Spent two seasons with the Bobcats...was a two-year starter on the mound...in his sophomore season, compiled a 4-2 record in nine starts, including three complete games...tossed 51.1 innings, allowing 52 hits and just 13 earned runs for a 2.28 ERA, good for second in the conference...struck out 25 in 2011...went 4-3 with 31 strikeouts as a freshman.

Prep: Graduated in 2009 from Winter Park High School with honors...named team MVP in both his junior and senior years...named his school’s Male Art Student of the Year in 2009...USSSA World Series MVP...threw the first perfect game in school history in 2008.

Personal: Born in Quantico, Va. on Sept. 27, 1990...parents are Denise and Lyndon Modomo...majoring in Homeland Security...volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, Operation Christmas Child, Toys for Tots and Coalition for the Homeless.
