Finished the regular season 9-1 with three shutouts, threw five complete games and had a 2.12 ERA...has a team-high 18 appearances with 12 starts...undefeated in league play at 4-0 with a shutout against Florida Memorial (Apr. 21)...only the fourth pitcher in Embry-Riddle history to pitch a no-hitter with a nine-inning, complete-game performance against Georgetown (Ky.) (March 10), striking out eight...also struck out eight in a five-inning, one-hitter against Faulkner (Jan. 27)...FSC Pitcher of the Week for Mar. 14...second on the team in strikeouts (68) and innings pitched (76.1).

As a Sophomore in 2006
Made 18 appearances with five starts...struck out 36 in 41 innings of work...posted a 4-0 record with a 1.76 earned run average...longest outing of the year was six innings against Edward Waters (Mar. 29)...fanned a season-high six batters against Rio Grande (Mar. 15)...went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a sacrifice fly in his only start at first base against Webber International (Mar. 4).

As a Freshman in 2005
Pitched in six contests with starts against Thomas (Feb.12), Edward Waters (Feb. 23) and Rollins (Apr. 12)...threw a total of 11.2 innings with seven strikeouts and a 6.94 ERA...recorded a season-high three strikeouts in four innings against Rollins...posted a 1-1 record.

Personal
Born on February 21, 1986, in Washington, D.C....son of Michael Maloney and Cheryl Fernandez...helped run the Quince Orchard High School Canned Food Drive that raised over 15,000 cans of food for the homeless in 2004...majoring in Aviation Business Administration and minoring in Communication.
