After a standout career on the diamond for the Blue and Gold, Enderson Velasquez joins the Embry-Riddle coaching staff as a graduate assistant. Velasquez, a native of Bolivar, Venezuela, played for ERAU from 2015-16 helping the Eagles transition from the NAIA to NCAA II play.
Velasquez was an All-Sun Conference selection as a junior, leading the Eagles to a TSC Tournament title and a semifinal appearance at the NAIA World Series. Velasquez was named to the NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team in 2015 and finished the season with 28 multi-hit games, the fifth-highest total in program history.
In his two-year Embry-Riddle career, Velasquez hit .346 with 140 hits, 30 doubles, six home runs, 90 runs scored and 75 RBIs.
Velasquez served as the Embry-Riddle Ticketing Intern for the 2017-18 academic year and received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from ERAU. He currently resides in Daytona Beach and is pursuing his Master's degree at ERAU.
