After a succesful four-year career as an Eagle, Jeff Lemon joins the Embry-Riddle coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2014 season. Lemon appeared in 179 games for the Blue and Gold, garnering 139 starts, mostly at third base. Lemon, one of the best hitters in the Stegall era, collected 177 hits and 97 RBIs for Embry-Riddle, jumping into eighth-place on the ERAU 150-hit club.
Lemon earned second team All-Sun Conference honors as a junior before he was named a first team All-Sun Conference performer in his senior season. Lemon ranked second in the country with 246 at-bats in 2013, collecting 88 hits (fifth most in the NAIA) en route to earning Honorable Mention All-America accolades and NAIA World Series All-Tournament team honors.
Lemon ranks ninth in school history with 536 career at-bats, striking out just 26 times over the course of his Eagle career. He posted a career batting average of .330, registering 24 doubles, 78 runs and 47 walks.
Lemon is a native of Bunnell, Fla. and graduated from Embry-Riddle in the spring of 2013 with a degree in Business Administration.
