As A Sophomore in 2009: Appeared in 14 contests with eight starts…posted a 6-1 record, including a 2-0 record in his two conference starts…turned in a 3.39 ERA and struck out 56 in 58.1 innings of work…tossed seven shutout innings with a season-high 11 strikeouts in his only complete game of the season to lead the Eagles past SCAD in The Sun Conference tournament semifinal (May 14)…struck out seven in six innings on the hill against Florida Tech (Feb. 24).

As a Freshman in 2008: Marked a 6-0 record with one save in 21 appearances...had a 2.98 ERA...started six games...pitched 63.1 innings...struck out 58 batters while walking only 11...allowed 27 runs on 60 hits...finished first in the conference in runs allowed per game (1.29) and second in walks allowed per game (1.56)...ranked seventh in the conference in ERA and fifth in opponent batting average (.242)...named the NAIA Region XIV Defensive Pitcher of the Year with a 1.000 fielding percentage...threw complete games against St. Thomas on Apr. 12 and Florida Memorial on Apr. 19.



2007: Redshirted.



Prep: A 2005 graduate of Oviedo High School...the 2005 Seminole County Player of the Year...second team All-State member in 2005...garnered All-Conference team honors in three consecutive seasons...a four-time letterwinner on a baseball team that won four straight district championships.



Personal: The son of Pam and Mark Bevis...born Apr. 16, 1987 ...majoring in Civil Engineering.
