Prep: A 2002 graduate of Gibbs High School...a four-year letterwinner in baseball...served as the team captain as a senior...named All-Academic, All-Conference and the team’s MVP as a senior.

Personal: A member of the United States Marine Corps from 2003-08...played on the South Command traveling Marines baseball team...traveled to Central America with South Command baseball team to improve diplomacy and administer baseball clinics to over 5,000 children while serving in the armed forces...the son of Christel and Lloyd Reed of St. Petersburg, Florida...majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
