Biography

2019: Earned SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll honors...homered in his final collegiate at-bat against Saint Leo (May 11).

2018: SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient...made 14 appearances with a pair of starts...mashed his first career home run against Felician (Feb. 10)...registered his third straight season with a 1.000 fielding percentage.

2017: Appeared in 16 games...scored three runs and fielded 1.000.

2016: Played in 17 games...went 3-for-7 with four RBIs and three runs scored...also made two appearances on the mound.

2015: Redshirted.

Prep: Graduated in 2014 from St. Francis Catholic High School...played for Kevin Maris, son of New York Yankees legend Roger Maris...captained his prep squad...named an All-State selection as a senior...hit .395 with a .567 slugging percentage...recorded 32 hits, 25 RBIs and scored 29 times in his final prep campaign...earned Dean's List honors all four years in high school...member of Mu Alpha Theta.

Personal: Born in Gainesville, Florida...parents are Tammy and James Jones...great-grandfather was James J. Jefferies, former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion...accumulated over 450 community service hours with the American Cancer Society, Kevin Maris Baseball Camps, and many other Catholic Charities...majoring in Civil Engineering
