Played two seasons at Frederick Community College in Frederick, Md....posted a 4-1 record his first season and 6-1 in his sophomore year...had a 2.53 ERA in his second year...a member of the 2007 FCC NJCAA World Series team...named to the 2007 All-Region Second Team and the First Team All-Tournament.

A two-year letterwinner at Glenelg High School...a 2004 graduate of GHS...pitched 36 innings in his senior season with 35 strikeouts, a 3.2 ERA and a 4-2 record with four saves.
