As A Sophomore in 2009: Saw action in 14 contests...utilized primarily as a pinch hitter and pinch runner...earned his only start of the season against Florida Tech on Apr. 21 when he was the designated hitter...made the most of his 11 plate appearances, driving in three runs, scoring three times and drawing a walk to go with two hits...was 1-for-3 with two RBI against Florida Tech.

As A Freshman in 2008: Batted in six games and appeared at third base in two games.

Prep: A two-time letterwinner in baseball at Seton Hall Prep...won the Hustle Award in 2003 and 2004...won the Captain's Award, Team Motivator Award and Hustle Awards during his senior season...his team won the 2005 conference, county and state titles...earned a letter in soccer in 2004 when he captained the team.

Personal: Son of Carol Ann and John Libretti...born on Oct. 6, 1986...has a sister, Francesca and brother, Nicholas...majoring in Homeland Security with a minor in Aeronautical Science.
