As a Junior in 2009: The Sun Conference Pitcher of the Year...first team All-American...the Eagles' starting pitcher in 17 contests...posted a 13-1 record with a 2.32 earned run average, five complete games, a shutout and 95 strikeouts in 116.1 innings...undefeated in the regular season...posted the lowest ERA in The Sun Conference and led the league in strikeouts, wins and innings pitched...finished tied for No. 1 in the nation in wins and No. 3 in innings pitched...four-time conference Pitcher of the Week...pitched nine innings, allowing two unearned runs on seven hits with a season-best 10 strikeouts and a walk...tossed nine shutout innings against South Carolina-Beaufort, striking out eight and giving up just four hits...fanned nine batters in nine innings and yielded one earned run on four hits against Edward Waters (Apr. 10)...struck out four in 5.2 innings to lead the Blue and Gold to The Sun Conference title with a win over SCAD (May 6)...went 1-2 with 31 strikeouts in 31.1 innings of work for the DeLand Suns in the Florida Collegiate League during the summer.

At Manatee CC: A two-year letterwinner under Head Coach Timm Hill...had a 5.60 ERA with a 5-3 record while serving as a team captain as a sophomore...honored as the Robert C. Wynn Scholarship Winner in 2008...had a 2.87 ERA with a 7-2 record in 2007.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Cocoa High School...a four-year letterwinner in baseball serving as the team captain in his senior season...had a 3.50 ERA with a 5-3 record in 2006...named the 2003 Most Outstanding pitcher for CHS...honored as a member on the 2004 first-team All-Cape Coast Conference and honorable mention All-State as well as named the team's 2004 Most Outstanding Pitcher...played for the Florida Stars from 2004-06 during the summer...named the Star's pitching MVP in 2006.
