Biography

    The 2008 home run leader for the Eagles, Kyle Albright  joins the staff as a volunteer coach after finishing his collegiate career in 2008, where he recorded some of the best numbers on the team.
    In his senior season, Albright hit 14 home runs, which broke the previous ERAU single-season record of 10. He had a batting average of .362, the third highest on the team, only missing one game all season. He recorded 75 hits with 16 doubles and three triples and led the team in RBI with 56.
    In Albright’s tenure at ERAU he had a .356 batting average, launching 20 home runs and tallying 110 RBI. He primarily manned first base but saw a few appearances in the outfield and on the mound.
    Prior to Embry-Riddle, Albright played for coach Steve Winterling at Pasco-Hernando CC where he hit .350 with seven home runs, 10 doubles and 25 RBI. He was named the team’s Most Valuable Player after his sophomore season.
    Albright is a 2004 graduate of Seminole High School and was an All-State selection as a senior. He was a three-time letterwinner in baseball and as a senior he hit .395 with three home runs, six doubles and 15 RBI.
    Albright recently signed withte Midwest Sliders, an independent baseball team that is a member of the Frontier League.
    He is completing his degree in Aviation Business Administration at ERAU. He currently lives in Daytona Beach.
