2014: Started in 43 of his 51 appearances as a junior...had 29 hits, including three doubles, two triples and four homers...his four home runs were second-most on the team...stole 11 bases and had a .978 fielding percentage in center field...went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in a win against Thomas (March 7)...drove in three runs with a long ball in the conference tournament against St. Thomas (May 4) en route to an 8-3 win.

2013 at Florida Gulf Coast: Member of an FGCU team that went 37-20 overall and 19-8 in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

2012 at Sante Fe College: Spent one season under Head Coach Johnny Wiggs where he helped the team to a 37-13 overall record...hit .286 and had an on-base percentage of .444.

2011 at Webber International: Played one season at Sun Conference member Webber International...appeared in 38 games with 10 starts...stole 15 bases and scored 13 runs.

Prep: June 2010 graduate of Frostproof High School where he played for coaches Jeremy Byrd, Scott Leech and Michael Irvin...named an All-County selection as a senior...holds the school record in the 60-yard dash...National Honor Society member.

Personal: Born in Hollywood, Fla. on April 9, 1992...son of Colette and Kenneth Buchanan...volunteered for the Frostproof Little League and Fort Myers beach pick up...drafted by the New York Yankees in the 40th round of the 2013 MLB Draft...majoring in Business Administration.
