As A Junior in 2009: Played in 14 games...drove in a run with a sacrifice fly against Florida Memorial (Feb. 14)...picked up a hit against Indiana Tech (Mar. 17).

As A Sophomore in 2008: Appeared in seven games and started three...picked up one hit, two RBI and scored one run.

As a Freshman at Southeastern Community College: Everyday starter for the Blackhawks...hit .270 in 2007.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Western Harnett High where he played for Head Coach Russel Taylor...three-year letterwinner... hit .370 his senior season...a three-time member of the Cape Fear Valley All-Academic and All-Conference teams.

Personal: Born on Sept. 15, 1987 in Germany... son of Jennifer and David Zentmeyer...served as a peer mentor at West Harnett High...majoring in Homeland Security.
