Liz Conquest

Liz Conquest joined the Embry-Riddle Sports Medicine team as an assistant athletic trainer in August 2022.  Conquest came to Embry-Riddle from nearby Mainland High School where she served in a variety of roles during her 12-year tenure. As the Head Athletic Trainer and the Director of Mainland's Sports Science Academy, she covered all Florida High School Athletic Association sports, providing injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation, as well as aiding in injury prevention. She also oversaw the Athletic Training Student Aide Association club and taught first aid and safety, and prevention and care of athletic injuries to students in the Sports Science Academy.
 
In addition to her athletic training responsibilities, Conquest was a biology and earth space science instructor, was the coach of the boys' cross country team and served as the school's science academic coach and data coordinator.
 
Prior to going to Mainland, Conquest spent two years as an athletic trainer and patient care coordinator at Medical Exercise Associates, and was a personal trainer and Y-Zone instructor for Volusia Flagler Family YMCA for three years.
 
Conquest was also an assistant athletic trainer Bethune Cookman University where she worked with the football, baseball, softball and volleyball teams.
 
Conquest earned her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida and a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California University at Pennsylvania.
